A lot of series returned last week, and I tried to see as much as I can. I am not invested in following every show, but I tried to see premier episodes for most of returning series to see at least if they are any better than previous year. Important to say is that all the shows I watch regularly didn't disappoint with new season premier episodes and I expect them to do well during the season. For starters, Castle and Fringe were the best among returning shows.
New season of TV began last week, and with many new shows. Not so many of them any good, but I expect that by the time mid-season starts many of current shows will be canceled. I had high expectations from several new shows, and I was looking forward to many returning shows. As with any new seasons, initial reactions are mixed and some shows might require at least several episodes to make a better call on the quality. This post is about all new shows I have seen this week.

For the past couple of months, there was very little happening on TVScape.NET due to other projects I am involved with. But, TVScape.NET is not dead, and new reviews are coming. I will try to push 2-3 reviews each week starting from october. Also, there is a new website that will be used as a showcase for products from the Amazon I purchased over the last couple of years. Some design changes are also coming.

After a bumpy start of the first season, and first half that was far from the standards we used to get from J.J. Abrams, second half of the first season of Fringe was almost amazing. That earned the renewal for the series and second season was really great, one of the best TV series that is currently on the air. And the good news is that Fringe is renewed for the third season, and with rating expected to rise, Fringe is here to stay.

And so the journey ends. Last night, the epic 2 and a half hour finale aired on ABC, closing one of the brightest chapters in history of television. It's very unlikely that we will get soon anything that will come close to replacing Lost in terms of story, characters and good old storytelling. And while some, I am sure, loved, and other hated how the series ended, I will try to write a review and keep it spoiler free, for now.

With episode 15 airing tonight, only few more are left until we see the final set of episodes titled (how else) The End. For some time is known that series end even will be double episode, but recently that also changed, and the last two episodes are expanded with another 15-20 minutes. So, here is in more details what ABC has planned for the ending of the iconic series and events that will last a whole week.

Thankfully, last season of Buffy is not as bad as previous one. The apocalyptic ending of season 6 ended the storyline that was made a mess by adding geek villains, and the only good thing out of that was creating of Dark Willow. And the first bad thing in season 7, is that there is no more Dark Willow. Regular Willow was good character, but we all grew tired of her, and Dark counterpart was nice change, that didn't lasted long.
