And so the journey ends. Last night, the epic 2 and a half hour finale aired on ABC, closing one of the brightest chapters in history of television. It's very unlikely that we will get soon anything that will come close to replacing Lost in terms of story, characters and good old storytelling. And while some, I am sure, loved, and other hated how the series ended, I will try to write a review and keep it spoiler free, for now.

New Amsterdam had a real potential, but due to low number of viewers, FOX did what they do best, canceled the show. This show didn't even had a chance to prove it's strength, because today everything revolves around high ratings and New Amsterdam really needed much more time for the complex main storyline that spans across centuries. These 8 episodes barely scratch the surface of the long life main character had.
