Is the season already over?! Again, these 12 latest episodes were again excellent as the previous season were. I didn't expect that they will manage to maintain the quality coming into the third season, but they did, and gave as another excellent and interesting story, and again meet several new characters. Base of this season is another important change in Hank's life and we will discover even more about him.

After the first season ended I thought that second one can't be more dirty, twisted, interesting, funny and even sad. Comedy series usually fail to have successive seasons as good as the first one, because of some repeating elements of the story. But with Californication we are continuing where the story ended in first season, and in some aspects this season improves on the first, ads more interesting characters and much more.

Finally, a series with no forbidden subjects, with no holds barred. It shows a life of a modern man, living his life the way he wants. A lot of love, a lot of sex, life with all it's ups and downs. Provocative series, with no shame, Californication is like nothing else on TV right now. Series reached high ratings in it's first season, higher than even some of the networked series, making Californication one of the biggest cable success series.

Season two is starting the new trend in the series, with much darker tone, while still funny. The themes and the story line will be more serious and Nancy will go deeper into the drug world underground while trying to expand, and getting mixed in the whole process starting with own weeds growing house. This season starts the decline in the series writing, and while this one is still good, things will go downhill fast with later seasons.

Since I have watched complete Stargate at least several times, I always there was always something wrong about this season and that something is missing. But, I watched it again recently and I must admit that this is an excellent season, with several key story plots, resolutions of some older plots and some very funny episodes. Showtime also invested more money, and visually this is so far the best looking season of Stargate.

After the huge success of the season 1, expectations for the second seasons were much higher. But, the things were not exactly as you might expect. First season was based on the book, but for the second, series creator and writers decided to write the story of their own. And in the end that proved to be much complicated task than they anticipated. First season was just too good too follow, and that was the big problem.

Stargate SG-1 season 3 is definitly my favorite of the early seasons produced for Showtime. This season features more diverse writing and much more in terms of developing Stargate mythology than first two seasons did, and overcomes the initial writers limitations. This is first season that finally takes advantage of the Stargate concept and almost unlimited pool of ideas that goes beyond the only egyptian gods and mythology.

Weeds is not a classic comedy that is made only to make you laugh. This is mostly a dark comedy with excellent, funny and intelligent writing and truly great cast and very actual theme that is rarly presented for TV the way Weeds have done. Series is created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Lionsgate Television for Showtime network. Episodes are under half hour long, and this first season had total of 10 episodes.
